The U14 Avalanche Girls hosted the Beloit Blades PeeWee A team on November 23. It was a touch match between the two teams. Alyssa Knauf, assisted by Cammi Ganshert, opened the scoring 42 seconds into the game. The Blades responded with two goals. Tessa Janecke, assisted by Cammi Ganshert found the back of the net at the end of the first period, tying up the game 2-2. Alyssa Knauf, assisted by Tessa Janecke, lit the lamp again. The Blades added two more in the second period. Tessa Janecke, assisted by Cammi Ganshert (earning a Playmaker) and Lilah Bauer scored half way through the third, but the Avalanche couldn’t stop the Blades from scoring one more, ending the game 4-5. Goalie Allison Esch recorded 26 saves. The U14 Girls next take on DC Diamonds at home on December 7.
