The UBL Fund Managers is looking for self-driven, self-motivated & result-oriented individuals having good knowledge of financial markets and mutual funds for the following position: Position: PMO Head Information Technology Department: The incumbent would be responsible to: 1. Establish and direct the policies and procedures for project management methodology and defining, testing, and installing the information technology initiatives based upon the user-defined business requirements. 2. Oversee Information Technology Department and provide technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the organization wide information technology (IT) program. 3. Provide an effective liaison between the business departments, the IT Steering Committee and the information technology services department, as well as, external vendors providing IT related services. The ideal candidate should possess a Masters degree in Information Technology/ Project Management, PMP or related certification. Experience: • Atleast 5 years of managing projects or related activities. • Experience of completing atleast 5 projects end to end. • Experienced in managing a team of atleast 8-10 people. • Past experience of setting up a PMO would be preferable. • Experience of managing IT Function in a lead role would be preferable. Job Role: 1. Develop Project Management Office and governance structures for efficient management of projects and programs to ensure benefit realization of organization wide projects. 2. Plan and implement enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial enterprise-wide IT operations. 3. Provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems. 4. Develop information systems strategies with business users, define business objectives, and identify cost/benefit impact to the company of proposed projects. 5. Support project initiatives, including identifying and analyzing preliminary business needs, budget considerations, time and resource estimates, defining the project scope and objectives, and getting business user sign-off. 6. Facilitate communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the organization. 7. Oversee the back office computer operations of the information system, including local area networks and wide-area networks. 8. Manage multiple information and communication systems and projects for business automation 9. Design, implement, and evaluate the systems that support end users in the productive use of computer hardware and software. 10. Ensure the availability of services and business continuity.
