The UF Health Science Center Libraries will show the movie Jezebel today at 5-7:30 p.m. in Lecture Hall C1-17 of the Communicore Building. The showing is the final event accompanying the Panama Canal centennial exhibit “From Microscopic to Massive: Worker Health Challenges in the Construction Era. The classic 1938 film is set in New Orleans during a yellow fever epidemic in the 1850s. Understanding yellow fever was key to successful construction of the Canal. The exhibit is on display on the first and third floor of the HSC Library and will remain open until February 1, 2015.
