The UK Fire Service Sailing Challenge 2014. We were welcomed at Port Solent as a sponsor and safety boat provider to this annual event. We enjoyed supporting the racing in the Solent and on the final evening attended a gala dinner with guest speaker Simon Weston. The Falkland Islands war veteran gave an inspirational speech. Many thanks to the UKFSC organisers and competitors for making this a great event. £6,000 raised was shared between the following charities: RNLI, Cystic Fibrosis, Fire Fighters Charity, Falklands Veterans Association and Macmillan Nurses.
