The UK government have announced that there will be NO travel restrictions or screening of persons coming in to the UK from Ebola effected areas, as the NHS is robust enough and well equipped and prepared to deal with any cases that might arise! Firstly, this is bollocks, every year, without fail, the NHS buckles under the weight of seasonal flu, and this is a completely predictable and well practised health care demand. Secondly, as a NHS employ with front line patient contact I resent being the first line of defence to one of the worlds most lethal diseases, partly in cause due to our inept rulers being to weak to control the situation. Rant end.
