The UN is calling the Syrian refugee situation the worst humanitarian crisis since the genocide in Rwanda in 1994. Journalist Judy Isacoff and myself have been working on a project over the last few months to capture the experiences of some of these refugees in portraits and interviews for a book and traveling exhibit.
