The US, and T&T, always preaches that youre not to run out of a building when an earthquake is taking place. In the recent 8.2 earthquake in Chile, video showed that people dashed out a supermarket to protect themselves. In an area like Chile, which experiences frequent quakes, is it that they disagree with the drop and cover rule? My instinct would really be to get out of a building during an earthquake though. It seems more natural to me.
