The Ulila Foundation Update: Please deposit your donations to: Japan Post Office Account: Code:10210 Account:48396071 Account Name: de Leon Joseph Salcedo My name is Joseph de Leon, an English Teacher here in Japan. I was born and raised in Zamboanga City, Philippines as an orphan (ULILA in Tagalog). During my childhood, I have struggled in many ways to survive hunger, being alone, being a street child. I valued education and promised myself to finish my studies, be successful and help the needy. God is good that I founded this group , no membership but volunteers from Facebook helped me start my outreach missions in December 1, 2008 aiming to help the needy people of Zamboanga City and other parts of the Philippines amidst the distance. As I promised, I did not prefer to be rich abroad but live in a very simple life , helping the needy in my own little ways since December , 2008 through the help of my Facebook volunteers and donors. As I mark the 5th Year founding anniversary of my Ulila Foundation, I am happy to thank all my donors, Filipinos and Japanese Community in Japan. To date, More than 70,500 relief items ( clothes & school supplies worth ¥14,100,000. or 7,050,000. Pesos: ¥200 or P100. each) were able to collect by me here in Japan and sent them monthly in the Philippines for the indigent children through the help of Ms. Cristina Cortez (Payment of delivery fee from Japan to the Philippines). More than 5,500 indigent children in Sucat Paranaque (LUZON), Mayon St. Davao City (MINDANAO), Alaska Mambaling Cebu city (VISAYAS) and Zamboanga City (MINDANAO) , Davao City, ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya were benefited from my inter- island outreach missions .
