The United States took a seven-stroke lead into Monday’s second round of the World Junior Girls Golf Championship and by the end of the day held a commanding 12-shot advantage over Canadas Brooke Henderson and her teammates. Still, the world’s top-ranked amateur has stood out. The 17-year-old Henderson fired a 1-over 73 in calm conditions at Angus Glen in Markham, Ont., after carding a 70 to open the tournament, and is tied for third with Line Hansen of Denmark on the individual leaderboard.
