The Universal African Peoples Organization (UAPO) headed by long time social and human rights activist, Zaki Baruti has issued a call for an International Day of Prayer and Meditation to be held Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 1:44pm. This historic spiritual appeal is calling for divine intervention on behalf of Black people in particular and humanity in general. This call is in response to the gravity of the Ferguson crisis, nationwide police killings, brutality, racial profiling, and legal cover-ups, Black on Black violence, the Ebola epidemic in Africa and a host of other social/economic issues impacting Black people in this country and throughout the world. In order for the success of this powerful spiritual initiative to be achieved, the UAPO is asking the following (1) for supporters to open the above attachment Day of Prayer and follow the directions provided in whatever community you live (2) open the second attachment titled Prayer/Meditation and if available join us atop Cahokia Mounds located 30 Ramey, Collinsville, Illinois (google for directions). Finally, please continue to help this monumental effort by spreading this call through all means of social media. May God Bless everyone support.
