The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was a pleasure to play. A - TopicsExpress

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was a pleasure to play. A melancholic, chilling pleasure. The story, music and visuals mesh together to create not just a game or a story but an experience. This isnt something to be pushed through and beaten (even though I was not in a rush, the game capped at nearly 4 hours). At the core of the game is a mystery. What happened to Ethan Carter? You play Poe, an investigator with a unique talent, a sixth sense that allows him to gather clues and construct stories from them. The visual style compliments the unique gameplay nicely, taking you on a series of journeys, never quite sure what is real or imagined. I would highly recommend this game!
