The Vatican and its catholic church should not be allowed to investigate their own crimes or be on any official inquiry ... we have seen where such a farce leads in Canada, where besides our common law adjudication, not a single individual has ever been tried or charged with the deaths of over 50,000 children. In Ireland, the government and catholic church are both accessories to a massive, inter generational crime and their investigation into the missing and murdered children under their care must be named for what it is: a criminal obstruction of justice. Only an independent common law court has the jurisdictional competence to rule on crimes by church and state. iclcj
