The Veggie Stand doesn’t look like much from the outside. We don’t have hardwoods or tile or fancy displays or shopping carts or walls. Our display units range from wheelbarrows for corn, to the beds of old trucks for watermelons and cantaloupe. Our store decorations include things like banners, jars of honey, hand painted signs and tractors. We don’t have a lot of fancy trappings. But we have the things that matter. We have a play area and picnic tables for families. We have field trips for children so they can learn that food doesn’t come from a grocery store but from the ground. We have a farmer that works his land daily and is around to answer your questions. We have Fernando and Danny who help Steve with the daily tasks of running the farms. We have Kayla and Rachel who provide our customers with excellent service. We have REAL LOCAL PRODUCE. We may be small. We may not have walls or neon lights or wooden floors but we have what counts. We have heart and passion and a commitment to customer care and product quality that the big guys just cannot match. Visit The Veggie Stand.
