The Volendam was the ship I was supposed to take to Australia when - TopicsExpress

The Volendam was the ship I was supposed to take to Australia when I originally planned to immigrate there. The plans were terminated by March of 2013. Voyage "348A", a 21-day trans-pacific crossing from Long Beach to Sydney, Australia, with ports of call at Honolulu and Hilo, Hawaii, Fiji, American Samoa, Vanuatu, New Calendonia, before arriving at Sydney (between the famous Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge) on October 20. The passage would have costed me approx $4000 which most was paid, before cancelation. I had already been assigned to a forward berth, but then upgraded, courtesy of the cruise line. In a surprising move - the company fully refunded me when I canceled. The following (and previous) photos and videos show her departure. To speed up the videos (as the departure process is slow), simply hold down the fast-forward button on your media player. To obtain a clip from the video, simply pause the video at your desired moment, press the "print-screen" key on your keyboard, then paste onto paint-processor, and crop as desired.
