The WM Guinn marker was in very bad shape. My cousins here in this - TopicsExpress

The WM Guinn marker was in very bad shape. My cousins here in this pic, from Louisiana, came up last year and we loaded it up and they took it home to get repaired and cleaned up. WM Guinn is a great-great grandfather of mine. The Guinns and Quinns were from the same families. Just had different spellings. Had something to do with their Cherokee heritage....or how they registered their names. Not sure. But they are all buried next to each other. How anyone could let this cemetery run down into such horrible despair is amazing to me! I did not know of its existence until last year. I suppose whoever owns the land, wants it to deteriorate into nothing and disappear, so they can sell the land to TVA or Champion, in order to make big profits. Makes me angry. I wish a group would volunteer their time to go in there and clean up the area and expose all of the markers and repair them. My physical condition of the present will not allow me to do such.
