The house is 2 1/2 stories with pedimented gables, two story bays, a front bay topped by a four sided hat and balustrated second story porches on both front and side. it is generously endowed with beautiful ornamental detail- ridge cresting and finials on the roof ; circular shingles on the pediments, four different patterned shingles on the second story, brackets and dentils on the cornices and a lovely raised motif on a horizontal band between the stories and at the tops of the bays. The second story of the front square bay has a broken pediment applique above the window and an unusual applique on the bays corners. This house is of significant Architectural importance , and really has no equal in this area.
