The Warrior. By Nicholas Caldwell. Demons crawl upon the skies - TopicsExpress

The Warrior. By Nicholas Caldwell. Demons crawl upon the skies fangs. Earth freezes monochromaticallly as it is cloaked in thick grey ash. Clawed monsters scattering into herds around the world. The light has escaped from the galaxies. Creatures eyes pierce through the blackness. Always watching. Always waiting. Above every hope is a temple of fear. Poor families huddle into weak herds waiting to be eaten. The tears have exhausted. The muscles have died. But nothing is perfect, not even the darkest of things. In the darkest hole sinking into the earth, lives a girl. A woman. A warrior. As if she is the last spider who lived another day after being poisoned by venom. She is fearless. She is emotionless. A machine. Veins screwed into a pumping tank. Steaming, hot oil into black smoke filling the body. Sparks cry off of the grinding gears within her jaw as she storms the earth blindly. Her eyes piercing through the blackness. She walks alone. Herds of varmints and caterpillars scamper away from her. Her roar calls over the Earth. She rains down in flames upon the world. Denying all evil that crosses her, like a sprouting crack inside a shattered window. She is destroyed. She will destroy. The sphere of life rumbles, shacking in all directions, trees tumbling over, the world boiling into flames. Everything deteriorates into pure whiteness. She stands alone in all holiness. No worries to worry upon. Matterless is all and nothing, but when dreams end, days repeat. She rises from her chamber. Dressed in her cloaks of the unknown. Walking down the stairway. Fathers words of curse pierce through her heart. She waits for the day to join her mother in the unknown. Her father still screaming at her as she storms out the door. She rides in the grey seat, pondering at the thick, monochromatic mist. Surrounding her are monstrosities of human beings. Creatures judgmentally peering into her. She grits her teeth, denying all evilness. She remains matterless. Her days blur off into a looping black whole. Returning to her chamber, she sighs as she climbs into a world of cold, white sheets. She shuts her eyes as she begins to dream of how her day, actually began. ;) If you enjoyed this story, feel free to give it a thumbs up, comment, and share it for your friends to see.
