The Warriors Conference was PHENOMENAL!!! hundreds of Warriors gathered in honor of our Ancestors, who we are and with an eye on extending what we do now into a sovereign future. the energy was beyond belief. this was the largest collection of Warrior Men that i have had the honor of speaking to/with. no doubt, the Warrior Women were present in significant numbers. nothing but love there for Afrikan people. countless hugs, handshakes, smiles, peace. Warriors need time to relax in each others presence also. one of the Elder Mamas there said she had never seen this many Warrior revolutionaries at a gathering before (and we, as she, have to understand that just because we have a large gathering of Afrikans doesnt mean that we have a large gathering of Warriors). another Elder Mama said she hadnt seen this much security, relative to the number of people present, since the Black Panther Party. the Irritated Genie, Sara Suten Seti, Professor Griff, ZaZa Ali, who was so much more than a host, Brother DJ who was responsible for putting it all together Brother DJ, those who brought the rhythm of the Universe into this sacred space through their Afrikan Insurrection Music and Mama Marimba who gave us our parting instructions, did a phenomenal job issuing a charge to the Warriors. i couldnt be prouder to have participated. Now, its time to get back to work being the disciplined, studious, resilient, loving, quiet, humble, observing, dedicated, accountable, intrepid, uncompromising Warriors that we were brought here to be.
