The Wealth of the Cypriots. The Cypriots should benefit directly from the Gas reserves. The is no point setting up another corrupt Company/semi- Government Body (like AHK, CYTA) fully owned and managed by whoever the elected Government of the time puts in to manage it! It must be partly owned by the state to safeguard National Interests, but it must be Market driven (free market), not Government controlled. Shares should be allocated to every Cypriot and be freely traded on the markets. This will also help the suffering Cyprus Stock Market. The management & Board of Directors must be performance driven and responsible to the Shareholders (Cypriot people & any 3rd parties Cyprus has). This is the least the Government can do to give back even the slightest re-ember cement to the Cypriot People who have suffered under bad management over the decades and have paid dearly with their life savings, the loss of their businesses and their National pride. Such an action will restore confidence and offer a sense of pride, ownership & confidence to Cypriots. It will generate wealth immediately and help the economy recover faster. Therefore get the Gas fields certified and float them on the markets ASAP Again, I hope someone in Nicosia is listening.
