The West Adelaide Bearcats Basketball Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Glenn Shaw as the head coach of the Womens State League team. Commencing as a West Adelaide Coach in 2010, Glenn is currently the club under 18 girls and Youth League Womens head coach. With a specific long term coaching involvement with female teams some of Glenn’s coaching profile includes: 6 years Womens ABL coach 2005-2010 5 Years Brock University Womens assistant coach (Ontario, Canada) 16 years head coaching experience: 2 provincial championships, 1 national championshipGlenn is married to Amanda, with 2 boys, Lucas and Jalen both playing for the Bearcats.Glenn has wide-ranging coaching experience and club thinking that will underpin the senior program and strengthen the alliance with the junior program in 2015.
