The West has ignored this problem far to long....It breaks my heart to hear the BBC report it as America going into Iraq AGAIN & some stranded civilians who have been displaced need supplies - that is just disgustingly inaccurate. Since January some 6,000 Yazidis, Christians, and other minorities (including other Muslims) have not just been driven from their homes. They have been / are being systematically executed - children are being beheaded and their heads put on public display. The families that are currently in exile were allowed to leave with only the clothes on their backs - no food & no water. For may of those lucky families who remain alive crying out for help, their wives and mothers were denied their freedom when taken as property now belonging to the militants. These 40,000 people have been sent into the mountains to die and that is what is happening. This is genocide! It is sick and horrific. We need to double check our standards here... if there has ever been a time to rally and petition our government to act - it is now, for these families! ....Where do we start? Im totally in!
