The Whitefish City Council meeting was a great success for Love Lives Here. Everyone expressed love for our great Flathead valley and specifically the wonderful city of Whitefish. 110 people attended with public comment going for an hour. Love Lives Here founding members Ina Albert and Rabbi Allen Secher spoke eloquently as well as LLH board members Hilary Shaw, Bruce Guthrie and many others. Mayor John Muhlfield, councilman Richard Hildner and the entire City Council were very supportive and said they would use all the tools at their disposal to ensure that the Flathead valley stays a diverse, inclusive and caring community. This is just the beginning as we will continue working with the Whitefish City Council and showing them support as they draft and ultimately vote on a no-hate ordinance. Please stay involved and attend our December 2nd meeting to continue making sure that Love Lives Here. Thank you.
