The Wilderness lies to the north of Balgranth. Legend has it that it was in this area the the former Green Kings of Balgranth, Sarakal and Hallskar had their capital. Furthermore, the blood priests of Birancour say to this day that The Wilderness holds the location to the crown of Keshet - the last divine ruler of Balgranth and its territories. Many believe this is more than some mere old wives tale..... Magister Palliako of the provisional government of Balgranth (in exile) is a believer. An old scroll tells the tale of a stone tablet - its pieces scattered - which gives the location of the crown of Keshet. And after years of fire and chaos in Balgranth, Palliako believes the crown will bring peace and prosperity back to this blighted land. Thus, he has assigned the knightly orders of The Blood Hammers and Drakengarde to travel to The Wilderness and retrieve the tablet. This is not an easy assignment, as The Wilderness is home to brigands, pirates, assassins and those that dont wish to be found.
