The Winter Carnival has started here in the great cold mid country, what are some of your favorite memories???? Lets start with last year in the hunt for the medallion Mikey was a clue. Then a couple that stand out from when he was a kid. The time he help with the button design. The time we had a car accident on the way to the fun fest. That was funny I had Mikey and Barb in the car they were about 5 and this car thought it could come up from this tunnel area and take a right which was right into my cars backend. Lets try to paint this picture. Cold, middle of the day and the way the street works is if you are going east on the street on the left or north side of the street has a tunnel that comes out into the left east bond lane. I was in the right east bond lane going straight and bamb this car comes out of the tunnel take a right south and hits us. We were find but the kids were made they missed some of the fun fest. The one where they made the ice palace on Lake Phalen and wouldnt let us climb on it. One of the best one is when they made just a small snow slide castle for the kids to play in on Kellogg St. The one where Mikey went to the ice race on Phelan different year and wouldnt leave even though he was so cold in a van with a heater on cuz he didnt want anything to happen to his uncle who was driven in the race. That was a long day. Some year when I get all the picture scanned I put some of this type up for all to see. Love Kathy
