The Word and Prayer - November, 2013 Start off your day with the Word and with Prayer Open your heart, lay your soul bare Let Father speak, and Holy Ghost guide They are already tested, already tried. For when running your race You should know where you’re going. When sowing a seed You should know where you’re sowing. When choosing acquaintance You must know who’s safe. When confronted with mountains You’re going to need faith. And you can’t teach others If you are not learning. You can’t give to others If you are not earning. You can’t lead another If your eyes are blind. Or set others free When you’re in a bind. So put First Things first, say the Father and Spirit Learn this lesson first, if you’re willing to hear it Then more truth will follow and Light for your way Give time to the Word, and take time to pray.
