The Word as a Cormorants The word should act in you like a man going down into the water and coming up anew. Meaning when the word goes down it will cut deep rising up a new you. Have you ever seen a Penguin or a Cormorants diving for fishes, just as they do the word dives into our heart, joints and marrows cutting away all that was bringing up the newness in you – now just imagine the word swimming through your being doing a clean up – ask God to let His words be like a surgeons knife within you. When the word of God takes up residence in you, it’s supposed to do what it said, but until you give it the key to the door it can only stay outside and knock. He tells you if you knock He will answer. Have you ever wondered why things are not done or healing complete because the door is not fully opened and He’s not fully invited in, He’s like a salesman at your door; He’s selling you the word, but you’re keeping Him out at the ajar door. But until you allow His word to take up residence in you, He cant do the cleaning – as a man cannot clean from the outside. Note Matthew 12:45, but if the word is in you the enemy cannot return as Christ will now be the door keeper.
