The World Bank names Antigua and Barbuda as one of fourteen countries that is poised to rise up and grow richer. The attributes which the analysts looked at re-country are: already being a middle to high middle income country; a high level of governance; and improvements to corporate and securities monitoring agencies post-2008 financial crisis.
