Too often suffering and human need is portrayed through negatively leaning statistics; statistics too daunting or too vague to do more than tug on a few heart strings, and yet when you encounter those statistics face to face, when you share a cup of tea, when you spend the time to listen to their dreams for the future, you begin to realize that humans are not negative statistics. They are not an illiteracy rate or an economic percentage, they are in fact the greatest source of potential the planet has ever known.
