The Worthville video I made several years ago. Its a montage of the photographs left to us by our Great Aunt, Lura Jane Kennedy and her sister, Zylpha Emma Kennedy-Wood, who was our maternal grandmother. There are also photos I took of Worthville in December of 2007. Some of the people in the photos were close friends and family but as many were not marked on the back, I do not know who they were but am hoping someone might recognize them. Shortly after this video begins, there are three close-ups of a young man seated in a chair, wearing a derby. All I know is that his name was Joe Kidd - the other names of people in this video are Damson Hilliard Naye Fentress Melvin Julian - and last names of Dowdy Coltrain/Coltrane and Spencer. Our cousin, Margaret Spencer-Heath was from Worthville and lives in California - I am trying to get in touch with her for more information as well. If anyone recognizes any of these faces - please let me know. The Group shots were taken at an outing at the old Worthville Park and are of mill employees. Our Aunt Lura and Grandmother Zylpha made ALL of the hats the ladies are wearing in the photograph where the women are all seated on the ground (with that one rather uncomfortable fellow surrounded by all that femininity!) - what Id give to have those hats, now! https://youtube/watch?v=jyLv24Xzeew
