The XBOX 360 BMW E36 racing simulator i have built/modified Almost everything you see has been modified. Microsoft wheel and pedals has had RGBY and paddle buttons rewired to accept external inputs. Allows me to run external shifter (from a toyota startlet, modified into sequential pattern and operating microswitches), handbrake from a Nissan S15 Silvia, clutch from a Rover Mini (with microswitch installed) Steering console and pedals are fitted to a steel frame. Frame is adjustable in all directions to suit any height person between 3 feet and 8 feet tall... and a proper full support adjustable back racing seat from a competition jet boat. Console also has a drivers section of dashboard and instrument cluster from a BMW E36 complete with original switches and heater controls, gear boot and shift knob. Original RGBY buttons on wheel had to be deleted but were duplicated in the side battery cover. 360 console has been Reset Glitch Hack modified to allow running games on hard drive. Forza 4 game has been modified to allow 2JZ supra engine to be installed into the BMW E36 body (also have included option of R34 GTR engine, LS1, and various others). E36 body data has been modified to allow wider wheel track/offset and ability to lower all cars to 0mm ground clearance. Game also modified in sound and graphics areas to allow more backfire and tyre smoke. Game NOT modified in handling characteristics or grip. Game also hacked to allow standard fitment wheels to be available for purchase and fitment to any other car including diameter increase option Unfortunately my ability (or lack of) to drive remains the same due to only using it maybe once a month.
