The Zaydis who reject the Imams after Ali son of AlHussain pbuh claim to love Ali. The Ismaelis who reject the Imams after Imam AlSaadiq pbuh claim to love Ali. The Waqifees who reject the Imams after Imam AlKathem pbuh claim to love Ali. The Twelvers who reject the first Mahdi Ahmed and the 11 Mahdis mentioned in the Prophets will claim to love Ali pbuh. Imam AlSaadiq pbuh said:The one who rejects the last one of us, has rejected the first one of us. Hidaya:7 وقال الصادق - عليه السلام -: (المنكر لآخرنا كالمنكر لأولنا The first Mahdi Ahmed AlHasan is a successor of Allah swt, because he succeeds Imam AlMahdi pbuh after when the Imam passes away, thereby the first Mahdi will be the hujja and Imam over the leaders after Imam AlMahdi pbuh dies. With that being said, it doesnt mean the first Mahdi is an Imam from the first set of the 12 Imams , he is rather an Imam from the second set of the 12 Mahdis but his rank is lower than the first set of 12 Imams and he is the best Imam and Mahdi of the second set from the 12 Mahdis. So whoever rejected Ahmed the first Mahdi from the 12 Mahdis has rejected Ali pbuh, which means rejected the Prophet s.a.w.w Imam AlSaadiq pbuh said:The one who rejects the last one of us, has rejected the first one of us. In everytime there is a trial and test so beware and be cautious as to what time you are living in.
