Thats more than the budgets for Americas national parks, public libraries, federal prisons, veterans health care, the FBI, and the FDA combined. -About 50 million of our 317 million Americans are food insecure yet we produce enough food to feed over 500 million Americans. -To create just the amount of food that ends up in the landfills we waste enough water to meet the domestic water needs of every American citizen. Therefore, we need our cultural orientation to be sustainable to begin with and that awareness can only come from a valid recognition of the laws of nature to which we are bound. Can we measure the integrity of a belief system? Yes. We can measure it by how well its principles align with scientific causality, based upon the feedback resulting. If we were to compare outcomes of differing belief systems seeking a common end, how well those perspectives accomplish this end can be measured and hence these systems can then be qualified and ranked against each other as to their merit or lack thereof.
