The acquisition, hoarding, and demonstration of wealth and finery is the action of a slave, not nobility. It cries for attention and admiration based on what one keeps, rather than what one gives away. When one gives away things that are treasured, things that are loved and are cared about, that is the action of true generosity, love, humility and gratitude and shows the character of a true noble person regardless of title, Name, or absence thereof.
