The airline WestJet pulled off a Christmas prank last year that had everyone smiling, especially 250 of their customers. Santa and 175 WestJet volunteers got together to find out what the travelers’ Christmas wishes were, and then they worked hard to fill those wishes by the end of the customers’ flights. From wishes of socks and underwear to flat screen TVs . . . Would they pull it off in time? JUST FOR FUN . . . Watch the video of WestJet’s Christmas surprise! bit.ly/Christmasprank ASK A KID: - Which of the gifts would you have wished for? Which of the gifts would you like to give to someone you love? - You probably can’t fulfill all of someone’s wishes, but what are some things you can share to make someone’s day? - Think “outside of the box” (or gift bag!) – what are some ways you can show generosity even after Christmas is long gone? ASK A PARENT: - West Jet was generous, but they also showed a lot of other Life Apps in action, like Creativity. What other Life Apps do you see in WestJet’s act of generosity? - How can we as a family use our Creativity and Cooperation to be generous toward others? - 1 Corinthians 12:27 says, “ You are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of it” (NIrV). How does being generous as a family live out this verse?
