Youre allowed mistakes in life. Youre allowed second chances, forgiveness. What part of that does the Baseball Hall Of Fame not understand? The Hall Of Fame is a joke, I honestly hate it. Your character has absolutely nothing to do with your performance on the field. All I know are these two things. 1. As far as everyone knows Pete Rose did not bet on the game of baseball as a player. He should be in for what he did as a player, not a manager. He wasnt very good at it 2. Its quite obvious that Barry Bonds was a Hall Of Famer before PEDS. He should be in too. At some point you have to forgive mistakes, assume theyve learned a lesson, induct both of them, and move on. Ive never understood this character standard for the Hall Of Fame. The Pro Football Hall Of Fame doesnt have it, why should baseballs?
