The amazing Lackawanna Cut off in New Jersey. The Lackawanna built - TopicsExpress

The amazing Lackawanna Cut off in New Jersey. The Lackawanna built this right of way more than 100 years ago and Conrail ripped it up in 1984. Now a high speed rail corridor sits with weeds growing out of it while traffic is a parking lot on parallel RT 80. Only in America. Amazing what you can build in three years. Too bad it takes one summer to rip it up and a bazillion years to put it back, which is SLOWLY happening. Excuse me, while a throw another dart at my Conrail dart board.
