The amount of illegal hedgerow cutting still going on in the countryside is quite alarming. 1st March is the deadline that most people seem to ignore with a casual shrug and a sure everyone else is doing it attitude. Dont cut hedgerows after first March, dont only put up walls/fences in your gardens add in shrubs, hedging, plant trees...everything that provides cover for nests. Be the change you want to see in the world.
