The amount of really negative content on Facebook recently speaks volumes about people. Its always a good idea to raise peoples awareness of causes on our planet that need attention. Education is a great way of doing just that. Glorifying it by displaying graphic imagery of whatever your issue is stands to gain nothing except bringing the wrong kind of attention to your concern. Perhaps a social media site for these interests could be created so that people who want to raise awareness of a cause can do so on their site and people who want to display gruesome disgusting images can do that as well. Or perhaps social media is just an unfortunate display of the human condition because the idea of having a social media site where positive content is the standard is apparently an unrealistic expectation. Well, its just a damned social media site so it doesnt really matter but man what a sad condition. Im sure I will continue using Facebook to satisfy my need to search for old friends and be a show off because I think I can play the bass but seriously sometimes Facebook is full of so much gruesome imagery and negative content its really a sick place.
