The amount of support Ive received so far during this short sprint for the DNC has been incredibly heartwarming to say the least. People have contributed financially online and offline, people that I know really well, and people that Ive never met. Ive gotten support from people all over the country, and even some staunch republicans have contributed because they believe in me even though we differ on many of our values! Advice, prayers, words of wisdom, and encouragement have been constantly sent my way. I even had a 17 year old delegate tell me that he is inspired to do more civically and politically because of my candidacy. We are exactly a week out from the election. Ive learned a considerable amount during this time, and Im excited to continue working hard on behalf of the people I love and the values that are important to me.
