The ancient Hebrew ideographic system of writing has twenty-two - TopicsExpress

The ancient Hebrew ideographic system of writing has twenty-two letters in its alphabet, and as consistent with the ideographic system, the twenty-two letters are twenty-two pictures that each carry a specific meaning related to the thing whose image or picture it is. But, the picture of a thing can have several meanings all related to the thing in question, the question now is, of all the possible meanings of each letter of the ancient Hebrew alphabet, how do we know the one they picked. The ancients had names for each letter specifying the sense in which they use it, by these names we can come to see these letters in the same sense they were seen when the bible was written thus correctly interpret the ideographs of the old testament text.
