The announcement today that Canada will move forward with plans to build a pipeline transferring its oil to Asia once again highlights President Obama’s inaction and inability to lead. The President’s continued excuses not to move forward with the Keystone XL Pipeline have eliminated American job opportunities and burdened struggling American households with higher energy costs. It has been over five years since backers of the Keystone XL pipeline submitted an application to the U.S. State Department. It is time for the President to act.
