The answer to your question is NO! And we will not ever be better off as long as President Obama is in office. His idea for this country is to make everyone poor and give to the very rich. His idea is to change the way our elective officials are elected and make him king of the United States. Every law that he has signed has caused problems for 99% of the people of the United States. The Stimulus Bill was a failure. The Affordable Care Act is a failure in that it created people paying more money for their insurance that was affordable before the bill was past. It force people to change how they bought insurance and what doctors they see. It also skyrocket deductibles for the very people who complained that they wanted affordable insurance. It is beyond me why the Legislature just didnt fix Medicaid that is still broken the way it was in 1985 and left Health Insurance along for everyone else. Now nobody can afford health insurance, much less the states that did not opt in for the Presidents bill. No one who is handling anything to do with this bill in the Federal Government is a Licensed Life, Health, and Accident Insurance Agent. According to the Federal Government anyone can sell insurance. One has to be licensed by examination to even talk to people about insurance in ALL the US States. Now the senate has a financial bill that if it is pass will ban books, and cause us not to be able to give our opinions. It will also cause us to Lose our very Freedoms in which this country was founded on. SNAP bill is a failure. The Food Stamp Program needs to be reworked, and those who can afford cellphones for every member of their family be taken off. You ask teachers all over the country in public schools, how many kids eats free meals? While you are at it, ask them how many of those same kids K-12 bring more than enough money daily to school for nearly the whole school to have three snacks? Almost all the teachers will tell you 7 out 10 kids K-12 who get free breakfast and lunch also brings wads of money to school for snacks everyday. If these families are too poor to feed their kids a nutritious breakfast before going to school, they certainly do not need to each have cellphone and money to burn in their pockets. I think teachers need to start reporting this kind of behavior to the State Government who issued the SNAP benefits to begin with. Lets talk about Energy. No bill passed and sign into law by Obama or any other Democratic President as far as energy goes has not worked. Matter of fact, it has caused more jobs that helped. How many people would like a full time job? Our natural resources is the key to having full time jobs. Let us take the oil and gas section of work. If we did have these, no one would be working including the Federal Government. Air Force One would be permanently grounded along with every vehicle used by the US Government. There would be no flights to anywhere and many people in the Northeast would freeze to death in the Winter months. The Keystone Pipeline will make a great job come back for the United States. In the states where the pipeline would run, those working on the line, will need things and someone will have to go to work to help these people get what they need. When the people are working for the pipeline peoples needs, then those people are going to want to buy things, Someone else will go to work to make things for the people who provide for the pipeline people. Mainly these states and the people who are fighting this pipeline are the biggest losers. Pipelines are safer than moving the same product by rails or by trucks. The oil companies maintain their lines and the states the lines run through will do nothing but collect taxes from that pipeline in their state. However, we have a president who wants everything his way or no way. This president is not helping anybody at all but those at the very top of the money line. He is more eager to go help people who have children who died because they were in gangs and done wrong than to stay out of it. He needs to learn how the laws actually work and quit hindering the enforcement behind the law from doing their jobs. Three other people come into mind who do the same thing. Are we better off than we were four years ago? Only a fool can ask that question again. Reagan wasnt a fool, but the question imposed by this president make this president foolish.
