The article last week in Big Timber Pioneer by uhknown author, pertaining to the accident on I 90 near Big Timber last Sept.2013,David Welk. David Welk has never stated that he hit someone... The article , in my opinion is bad timing considering jury selection starts on Monday, Septermber 29, 2014. David Welk has stated all along he never hit a person or left the scene of an accident,crime scene and DNA report from the Montana Crime Lab states there was NO HUMAN DNA on the semi David Welk was driving. All the DNA and evidence of the accident was only on a pickup. The trailer the pickup was pulling was never found by authorities because it mysteriouly vanished before police arrived to seize the vehicles. Once police tracked it down the driver stated a semi hit him first, if that was the case why not stop immediately,and call police, there was DNA left at the car wash that they went to at 4am in the (rain). According to the clerk at Caseys where they stopped to find a self serve car wash.•
