The article says Over 1.5 million households in NYS (out side of NYC) needed assistance paying their heating bill last year. Many more did not meet the requirements, choose not to apply for assistance, or struggled to pay their electric, fuel oil and/or gas bills. Get your electric and/or gas bill; look at the supply portion now imagine if your received a check for all or a portion of it. What would you do with that new found money? 2. Imagine how you would feel if, you were able to help an elderly family member or neighbor, ease their financial burden. 3.
