The attack of the Kiev juntas Naz-guard and the Right Sector against Slavyansk in their brand new US-provided uniform and gear is part of a careful plan closely coordinated with and supervised by Washington. The attack tested anti-fascist self-defense by fire, but it also served as a deterrent against further antifascist mobilization elsewhere, while testing or even cementing the juntas impunity--much thanks to how it is hailed and received by the US and other Western states. The West praised the attack. With these attacks (killing a dozen of people at a time), the junta also hopes--as a minimum--to last till the May 25 presidential elections, which are beforehand legitimized and approved by the West. It could be that, if unopposed, the elections can turn the momentum back to the junta, thus freeing even more its hands for further repression and cleansing as well as NATOs arrival at the gates of Moscow (or merely some 400 miles from Moscow). The hasty retreat of the Naz-guard from Slavyansk was undoubtedly caused by the news of the announced beginning of the Russian military exercises, which moved thousands of Russian troops right to the Ukrainian border.
