The average woman is beautiful? That notion of blending layers of photos has been around a long time - basically since negatives were invented in the 19th century.. These blends were done by someone with a tremendous amount of skill and finesse.. The eyes were lined up really well.. But then theres been serious photoshopping to smooth out the differences in nose and chin lengths.. Leaving the hair a swirling ghostly mass serves at once to underscore the nature of the project - and in contrast to the center of the faces - makes me almost hyper aware of the digital manipulation of the features. I like this as art.. But I dont believe it reveals an average
