The great people at City Care will ensure Christchurch’s street Christmas decorations are installed as usual this year by underwriting the installation costs.Many others are also contributing Chief Executive of City Care Onno Mulder says, “We understand Christchurch City Council’s decision not to pay about $55,000 to install the decorations this year, but we want to make sure the people of Christchurch can enjoy the festive atmosphere this Christmas.“We have offered to underwrite the costs of installation and removal of the decorations, and Council has accepted our offer .A number of other companies and individuals had already offered support including Christchurch International Airport, Scenic Circle, Hairy Lemon, Jonny Schwass, Men at Work and the Mike Pero Foundation.
