The bad news is that we all suck. Take that however you want. When we all start out at something, we are bad at it. REALLY BAD. Were a bunch of asshole noobs acting like we really know our shit. And you know what thats okay. Even if we are noobs and our shit presently sucks (music, strength training, painting, writing, whatever), at least we have good enough taste to recognize that we arent where we want to be yet. It takes a lot of work to get there. The successful person we typically compare ourselves (unconsciously or consciously) in whatever area of life more than likely not put in a ton of hard work! Thats the price you have to pay to get really good at something. So no more of this Im sad I cant squat X amount of pounds or saying LUCK played a huge part of that persons success. Did you put in at least ten years of hard consistent work in that area you want to master?? Get back to me about luck when you have narrowed your path in obtaining mastery with many years of practice.
