The bad news this year just keeps coming for my family. Last week my step-father found out he had cancer. I have been holding back saying anything until my family had time to process exactly what is going on and the severity of it. I have been trying to stay strong for him and my family and trying to hold back emotions at work and around friends. What we know now is that the original spot that had been removed was not the primary location of the cancer, meaning it has spread. We will not know exactly the severity of it until a few days from now when a PET scan is completed. Please keep Charlie and the rest of my family in your prayers. We will get through this one day at a time. We are going to beat this together. If you like this or leave a comment I will be sure to pass it along to Charlie because all of the positive thoughts and encouraging words will be greatly appreciated by my family.
