The barbaric act of the sports teacher in molesting and raping a 6 year old child at a leading Bangalorean public school (Vibgyor High School) reminds us the horrific Nirbhaya episode. Entire country was razed for the same and We expected respect for women hood will be one of the top agenda on priority for the country’s political leaders and lawmakers; so is the reason we voted for a political change. Rape inside the school premises, inaction for more than 4 days in tracking down the culprits, shows how selfish and coward our system is in protecting and respecting the country women/kids. It’s a big trauma for the child and her parent throughout their life. For all such heinous crime inside any school, political leaders and policy makers should cancel the schools affiliation with immediate effect with immediate arrest of the school chairman being holding the position of responsibility. If state government is not acting, Central government (PMO/HRD ministry) and central policy making agencies should work cohesively to cancel the affiliation with strictest punishment to everyone involved in protecting the image of so called high profile public schools. It is the urgent need of the time to believe on the changed political system
